I’m excited to be facilitating this new bootcamp. The idea came from my experiences teaching. Currently I’m teaching job readiness classes for two of my clients. The classes are centered around computer basics and I use resume building as the final project.
Over the course of the lessons, students are taught computer basics and then I have the students apply what they learn to help build their resume at the end. For instance, if the lesson for that day is about searching the internet. I’ll teach students how to properly and safely search the internet. The students can then apply that knowledge to search for things so help them build their resume such as employer information – phone number, address, and/or job requirements from that specific employer.
